Edinburgh, is my home and my sanctury. I fell in love with the city when I was very young and, even though I have lived here for 9 years, there is always something new and exciting for me to discover.

My favourite moments in the city are at twilight. I wander the streets by star and street light and absorb the atmosphere, architecture and history.

The Castle dominates the sky line perched ontop of an extinct volcano. The winding streets of the New Town lead upwards to the multi-level haunted Old Town. In Inverlieth the expansive parks and the Botanic Gardens are at there best in mid April when the cherry trees shake off their blossom and you can loose yourself within a snow storm of petals. And in the National Art Gallery you can sit, surrounded by masterpieces, while you gaze at the beauty of Canova's "Three Graces".

At the end of the, day when I am tired of galleries and gardens, you will find me in a George Street cafe sipping something alcoholic and watching the world go by.
