"Everywhere is walking distance if you have the time" Steven Wright

My aim in life is to go everywhere, see everything and do everything. It is a task which will never be complete, but it means that I will always have another goal to strive for. But, where there is a will, there is a way ... and I have a very strong will!

I remember reading in the Guinness Book of Records when I was at school about the handfull of people who had visited every country in the world; now that would be an achievement of which to be proud. I remember vividly that the top two names were two married Doctors who worked for a medical relief agency, and it is perhapse that, more than any altruistic thoughts, which has set me on my current career path.

When I sit at home or at work there is always a part of me which longs to be on a plane, boat, train, car, motorbike, bicycle .... anything that allows me to escape to a new destination.

Whether at home or away I love meeting new people. I am fascinated by new cultures and am constantly trying to learn new languages (with varied success!).

I feel at home in Europe and North America and now the rest of the world is beconning me. There are so many amazing places in the world which are just waiting for me to discover them.
